Meet at Metrotown Skytrain Station in Burnaby
We will hold simultaneous protests at every TD Bank is Burnaby demanding they DIVEST the $731 Million they have already committed to the dangerous and unnecessary Kinder Morgan pipeline Project.
This pipeline would run right through the city - violating indigenous rights, putting hundreds of thousands of people and the surrounding land and coast at risk.
The pipeline would also make it impossible for Canada to meet even its modest United Nations climate commitments - which a broad scientific consensus agree are the bare minimum for human survival on this planet.
TD Bank says, “Protecting and enhancing the environment is our commitment” and we are demanding they put their money where their mouth is. Literally.
Meet a Metrotown Skytrain Station, and we will coordinate groups and transportation from there. Bring your signs and your voices. We want to be loud and visible!
