A Climate of Change - discussion exploring practical climate mitigation and adaptation strategies for BC

 SFU's PWRC in the Faculty of Environment in partnership with Science World is pleased to invite you to the launch of our To Catch a Falling Sky Series which will explore challenges and solutions for water, energy and food resources.

 

This first talk, A Climate of Change, is a discussion exploring practical climate mitigation and adaptation strategies for BC featuring:

  • the Honourable George Heyman, BC Minster of Environment and Climate Change Strategy with
  • Tim Barton, Senior Transit Planning Engineer with the City of Vancouver and
  • Jens Wieting, Senior forest and Climate Campaigner with Sierra Club, BC.

 

When: November 1st, Doors open at 7:00pm; event starts at 7:30pm

Where: Science World, 1455 Quebec Street

Tickets: This talk is free and open to the public but reservations are required. Reserve your seat.
