I can tell you right now that this is an event you will not want to miss. Bill will be in conversation with renowned Indigenous rights activist and renewable energy scholar Melina Laboucan-Massimo, as well as our very own community members who have been on the frontlines of resistance to the Kinder Morgan tar sands pipeline.

At a moment like this one, with Kinder Morgan so close to defeat, it’s conversations like this one that will help us imagine the pathway forward to a just, renewable energy future. It is so important for all of us to sit together and hear from some of most grounding voices in the movement for climate justice and Indigenous rights.

All of the funds raised from ticket sales will go towards the legal defence fund to support those facing criminal contempt charges for their bold actions at the gates of the Kinder Morgan terminal facility on Burnaby Mountain. Buy your ticket now to join an intriguing conversation and support the 200 defendants facing Big Oil’s bullying in court.

I look forward to to seeing you on Saturday,
