On June 30, eight Water Protectors were arrested blocking the gates of Kinder Morgan's oil tanker terminal in Burnaby. They are the third group of Protectors to face jail time. Laurie Embree was released last Saturday and Reverend Emilie Smith and Pastor Steve Heinrichs are currently serving their 7 days in custody.
