Earth Day Parade & Festival

Party for the planet

It's the annual Earth Day Parade & Festival. Take to the streets with a lively, youth-driven celebration of climate action!

The Carnival Band, double-decker bikes and giant paper mache birds will march with you down Commercial Drive. Celebrate the climate action taken by youth today – their efforts will protect the climate of tomorrow.

We will gather around Commercial Drive and North Grandview Highway at 12:30 - 1 PM. The parade will proceed north on Commercial Drive until we reach Grandview Park around 1:45 PM. When we arrive at Grandview Park there will be a family-friendly fun festival until 3 PM!

Climate action is so important these days. We're facing unprecedented climate change. British Columbia is headed in the right direction in fighting greenhouse gas emissions but it's not enough. Now, more than ever, we need to show the government and the people around us that drastic climate action is needed.
