KINDER MORGAN PIPELINE? DON'T BANK ON IT!

Clearly the opposition to Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion project is doing something right. The project is way behind schedule, and the Texas oil giant announced last week they are halting all "non essential spending" while they reevaluate and make a new announcement after May 31. This makes the next six weeks of organizing extremely important. 

Kinder Morgan is trying to pressure federal and provincial governments to intervene more forcefully to get the project built. On cue, Prime Minister Trudeau called an emergency cabinet meeting to reaffirm they will use all possible means to get the pipeline built, and Alberta NDP Premier Rachel Notley has made increasingly extreme threats against the people of British Columbia if the pipeline project does not go ahead. 

Through it all, the indigenous-led resistance to the dirty Tar Sands project has remained strong, united and committed to taking action to stop the pipeline and defend our communities and planet. 

Join us for a rally and march which begins at the pipeline's biggest investor, TD Bank's, BC headquarters, and then continues through Vancouver to the locations of several other large investors and big businesses trying to profit from this dangerous and unnecessary project. 

They say, "This pipeline will be built." We say, "Don't bank on it!"
