Join author Gordon Hak as he considers some of the politicians, picketers, and protesters that have comprised the provincial left since the nineteenth century, including early coal miners and Single Taxers, Wobblies and communists, NDPers and unionists, and Solidarity and Occupy movement participants. The presentation will be accompanied by a photo slideshow. The Left in British Columbia, the first comprehensive history on the subject, explores the diversity and ever-changing nature of the left in B.C.
