About The Event

At the start of May, Lucy Graham and Mahilde Gordon (a.k.a. Passage Adventures) launched their sea kayaks from the shores of Glacier Bay in Alaska, beginning a 2100km, 3-month long journey through the Inside Passage, raising awareness of marine debris along their way! They collected data on marine debris, participated in a beach cleanup and spoke at several public events. They have also raised thousands of dollars for ocean charities.

Come along to find out if, at the end of their trip, they are still friends! Did they starve or was the plastic free food storage a success? How was their journey around Cape Caution? What did they see on their remote beach cleanup with the Living Oceans Society? What are some ideas to combat global marine debris and stop this rubbish at the source?
