Protect the Inlet

On Tuesday, two remarkable things happened. First: Justin Trudeau’s government bailed out and bought the Kinder Morgan pipeline. Second, with less than 12 hours notice, thousands rallied in Vancouver to tell Trudeau that it doesn’t matter who owns this pipeline: our communities will never let this pipeline be built.

By giving public money to a Texas-based oil company, Trudeau has now elevated the movement against this pipeline. Join us tomorrow (Saturday, June 2) on Burnaby Mountain as we kick off the new phase of the fight against Trudeau’s pipeline buy-out.

We forced the national media to stand up and take notice and we sent a strong message: We are not going to stand idle while Prime Minister Trudeau gives billions of our own money to a Texas oil company.

Join us on Burnaby Mountain tomorrow starting at 8:30am, where we'll prepare for the summer of actions against Trudeau's Kinder Morgan pipeline.

RSVP FOR TOMORROW
Trudeau’s reckless giveaway is just wrong — especially when Indigenous communities still are still on boil water advisories; when affordable medication, dental care, and childcare are out of reach for so many; and when thousands need a place to sleep or aid with beating addictions.

Join us tomorrow (Saturday, June 2) so we can organize together and tell Trudeau that we won’t let him build this pipeline, period.

We’re going to show Justin Trudeau that he’s kickstarted the biggest protest season the country has ever seen.

We’ve already forced Kinder Morgan to back away from this risky pipeline and tanker project. Now it’s time for us to force Justin Trudeau to back off as well.

By working together, we can stop this pipeline.

We'll see you tomorrow.

In solidarity,

The Protect the Inlet team.
