 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

855 E Hastings St, Vancouver

Anti-displacement organizers and activists from across Turtle Island will be coming together for a talking circle around protecting affordability, culture, history and community!

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in coalition building across communities, learn from our guests on a diversity of organizing tactics and their many creative approaches to resisting the threats posed to their communities by gentrification, fueled by colonialism and white supremacy.

The conversation will be facilitated by Jeff Masuda, Japanese Canadian descendent from the Powell St community and researcher with Right to Remain. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions to the many talented organizers in the room and participate in exciting discussions.
