*Kinder Morgan has started construction. That’s why on October 28th, we’re taking action by land and by sea to disrupt their plans.*
WHAT: We will gather in the morning for a rally to hear from inspiring speakers and to demonstrate our opposition to Kinder Morgan. On the water, dozens of kayaks and canoes will create a wall of resistance at Kinder Morgan’s export terminal. We will need as many people out there as possible on the land and the water to send a strong message.
WHERE: Cates Park/Whey-ah-Wichen, North Vancouver
WHEN: October 28th, 9:00 AM for people taking action on the water, 11:00 AM for people joining the rally on the land

Kinder Morgan thinks they can get away with construction. By protesting at both Cate’s Park and in the Burrard Inlet we will send a powerful message to politicians, investors and Kinder Morgan that people are willing to do whatever it takes to stop this dangerous pipeline.
Kinder Morgan would put the entire Salish Sea at risk, sending hundreds of tankers loaded with dangerous tar sands oil through the Burrard Inlet endangering the water, salmon, people and the climate, all without the consent of Indigenous peoples.
