EXTINCTION REBELLION’S GENERAL ASSEMBLY

What is a General Assembly?

A general assembly is a gathering of XR members who want to help guide and build our local movement.
It's an entry-point; a place for people to be welcomed into the movement and to become more deeply involved in XR Vancouver. It's a space to connect with other XR members, build group cohesion and trust, and discuss topics and strategies central to our movement.
It's a place of adaptation and inspiration, of reflection and imagination, and of community and regeneration.

Why should you attend?

You've been inspired by the XR actions in the UK and want to get involved in building the movement here.
You are worried about the future of our planet and want to take action / support others taking action.
You are involved with XR Vancouver and have ideas about what we can do going forward, or want to start organizing some actions.
You are unsure of what to do now that you’ve joined and want more information.

Goals of assembly:
- An entry-point for people to get deeper involved with XR (welcoming space)
- To help build group cohesion, trust, and identity (connecting space)
- To help guide our movement by being our collective voice (decision-making space)

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
Everybody is welcome, no matter your knowledge or experience.
