Hi friends, below is an open letter calling on countries to vote no to Canada's UN Security Council bid. Endorsed by David Suzuki, Roger Waters, Noam Chomsky, Ellen Gabriel, Pam Palmater, Monia Mazigh, Antonia Zerbisias & more, it was published this morning in the Toronto Star. Please help us build momentum by signing it at foreignpolicy.ca/petition and sharing the public petition via Facebook, Twitter or email. This google doc contains sample text and images for Twitter and Facebook.

The petition will be delivered to UN member states prior to the vote for the security council seat in June. Gathering signatures is aimed at increasing our impact when the petition is delivered to ambassadors of UN member states.
