This Thursday, September 3, folks are bringing canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, and rowboats to a floating stage where folksinger and activist Luke Wallace is giving a benefit concert for RAVEN. You can also surf to the show via livestream and catch the sunset vibes of a golden-hour show that promises to uplift and inspire.

Says Luke, “Though I’m grateful for everyone’s cooperation regarding our collective health, there are deep social and ecological issues that cannot be put on the shelf. This floating fundraiser concert is part of a new wave of creative solutions that folks are inventing to support critical movements in uncertain times.” 
 

Thursday’s show is a chance to experience beautiful music together but also to celebrate the community that has been formed around supporting Indigenous rights. Supporters like you have been backing legal challenges by coastal Nations like the Tsleil Waututh, Squamish, Haida and Heiltsuk for many years. The work that Thursday’s show is supporting makes it possible for everyone to enjoy a clean coast that is rich in biodiversity and can sustain healthy communities.
