In Defense of Solidarity: Palestine on Campus  A virtual film screening & panel discussion

We will be screening a one-hour supercut and panel discussion of Al Jazeera’s The Lobby – USA, a look into the counterinsurgency projects designed to disrupt Palestine solidarity movement building. This supercut will focus on U.S. college campuses and the Israel lobby’s efforts to disorganize and undermine campus activism.

5–7pm PT / 8–10pm ET

 

The one-hour screening will be immediately followed by a panel of experts who will dig into the ways the film’s themes show up in real-life Palestine organizing on campuses. Speakers will include:

  • Dr. Rabab Abdulhadi (San Francsisco State University and AMED: Arab & Muslim Ethnicities & Diasporas) 
  • Kristian Davis Bailey (Palestine Legal) 
  • Khury Petersen-Smith (Institute for Palestine Studies)
