Free Webinar - book launch: The End of This World: Climate justice in so-called Canada

We at the CCPA–BC are getting right back into the swing of things this month with a free webinar hosted by the Corporate Mapping Project to celebrate the launch of the new book The End of This World: Climate justice in so-called Canada.

The book shows that the necessary just transition from fossil fuels cannot succeed without dismantling settler capitalism in Canada. The authors lay out a roadmap to a livable future, where Indigenous sovereignty and climate justice go hand in hand, showing that the next world is both within reach and worth fighting for.

We’ve got a great lineup of speakers with all six book authors (Angele Alook, Emily Eaton, David Gray-Donald, Joël Laforest, Crystal Lameman and Bronwen Tucker). The discussion will be led by academic and CCPA–BC research associate Clifford Atleo (Niis Na’yaa/Kam’ayaam/Chachim’multhnii). I hope you’ll join us!
