Gather to Bear Witness to Takeover of Unceded Land for Pipeline Construction

Unceded Coast Salish Territories (VANCOUVER, BC) —Pipeline opponents will gather at the gates of Holmes Creek Protection Camp Thursday morning to bear witness to the desecration of these sacred, unceded Coast Salish lands as pipeline crews and colonial security forces work in the are. On Wednesday, TMX crews and multiple security forces raided the camp, but land protectors will still rally at the site.

Where: Holmes Creek Resistance Camp is located in the forested area southeast of where the Trans-Canada Highway crosses North Road in Burnaby/New Westminster. Parking is available in Lower Hume Park, 660 E Columbia St, New Westminster, or in the nearby shopping centre at Lougheed. (see map below)
