International Workers’ Day (May Day) at the Maritime Labour Centre (and more)
Join us and a number of worker organizations for a celebration of International Workers’ Day (May Day) at the Maritime Labour Centre!
The event will feature a labour and community information fair, speakers, live music, food provided by Tamam: Fine Palestinian Cuisine, workshops, and more! The event will be from 5:30-9:30pm.
The WSN will be presenting our Climate, Labour, and Your Rights 101 workshop.

On April 30 from 6-8PM, join us online alongside Socialist Action, Socialist Alternative, and Democratic Socialists of Vancouver. This summit brings class conscious organizers in BC together to build solidarity, strategize, and create a grassroots alternative power network.

Toxic Tour 2024
The world’s “Greenest City” is home to some very dirty business. Join CPSHR for a “Toxic Tour” of Vancouver’s mining headquarters. Featuring testimonies, trivia, and presentations from Filipino, African Diaspora, Latino, and local solidarity organizers.- Walk in solidarity with communities affected by BC-based mining companies throughout Turtle Island and across the globe!
- Trace violence to its source and visit the corporate headquarters of mining companies!
- Reject Canadian government-supported corporate violation of peoples' lands, waters, rights and livelihoods!
- Honour those who have been injured or killed for their opposition to Canadian Mining projects.
- Bring your children, parents, grandparents!
