Andreas Malm is an author, activist, and an Associate Senior Lecturer of
Human Ecology at Lund University in Sweden. He is the author of several
books including, Fossil Capital: The Rise of Steam Power and the Roots of
Global Warming, The Progress of This Storm: Nature and Society in a
Warming World, and Corona, Climate, Chronic Emergency: War
Communism in the Twenty-First Century. His articles have also appeared
in numerous journals, including Jacobin, Historical Materialism, and
Environmental History.
