We have learned that the Ministry of Labour is considering cutting back supports to workers, and amending the Employment Standards Act to make it more difficult for workers to win their complaints.
We will be conducting a phone zap to Minister of Labour, Harry Bains, to share our vision for the Employment Standards Branch (and get ahead of any possible proposed changes that roll back workers rights in BC) tonight August 31st, 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
