Join the call for a Frack Free BC

As climate disasters worsen, the BC NDP continues to invest in an economically dubious LNG industry, causing us to fall behind on zero-carbon alternatives that are essential for facilitating a just transition away from fossil fuels. In reply, Frack Free BC has built an incredible movement of allies across the province that are willing to do what it takes to end fracking in B.C. It’s now time to use this momentum to deliver our message in a way they can’t ignore.

We’ve developed a secret plan that will put Frack Free BC high on the BC NDP’s radar, but we need you to make it possible! Join our upcoming organizing call to learn about how you can get involved as a member of the Frack Free BC movement and let’s seize this important opportunity together.

Will you join the Frack Free BC organizing call on October 17th at 5:30pm PT on Zoom to participate in this exciting moment with us from wherever you live?

Here is all you need to know:

Frack Free BC is a growing alliance of nonprofits, Indigenous People, grassroots groups and individuals working together to end fracking in B.C., and support workers and impacted communities to transition to a sustainable economy. Stand.earth and Frack Free BC community members like you have been building impressive momentum throughout the year, including a massive art day of action in March that saw 40 banner-hangs in over 27 communities across B.C. Next, we turned up the heat over the summer by dropping in on MLAs, and organizing rallies at their offices all across the province. Now we’re scheming another exciting moment to push things over the edge, and we want you to be part of it!

Can I count on you to make our plan succeed and help us end fracking in B.C.? Learn how to get involved by joining our upcoming organizing call on Zoom, Tuesday, October 17th at 5:30pm PT.

Not only is fracking BC’s biggest climate problem, the industry is also the only one in the province permitted to extract billions of litres of freshwater from local lakes and rivers, pump it full of toxic chemicals, and then dispose of it untreated. The Provincial Government is the only jurisdiction that has the power to end fracking, and it’s up to us to mobilize a massive Frack Free BC movement that will force the BC NDP to pay attention.

I truly believe that together we have the power, the skills, and the strategy we need to win, and I’m so excited about mobilizing the power of this massive, grassroots, cross-sector movement with you! Now, let’s make our message even louder.

Hope to see you there,
