As we approach 2 years since the Zionist entity has launched a brutal genocidal war against the Palestinian people, it is our duty, now more than ever, to disrupt the flow of goods, services, and arms to the state of Israel.

Our distinguished panelists will share key insights and perspectives with us, to chart a path forward for workers in Canada and across the globe.

1) Moayyad Bsharat is a Palestinian land, farmers’ rights, and rural women’s Rights defender, he has been working with the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) for 14 years, is the regional coordinator of La Via Campesina in the Arab Region, is the director of the lobbying and advocacy department in UAWC, and has a Master’s degree in sustainable development.

2) Olivia Katbi is the North America coordinator for the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement. She also organizes with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and is based in Portland, Oregon.

3) Juan Carlos Solano Guillén is the Secretary of Mining-Energy Transition and Environment of SINTRACARBÓN (Union of Coal Miners in Colombia).

4) Jan Ceulemans works at Brussels Airport as Cargohandler (loading and unloading aircrafts). He has been a union representative for the socialist Union ABVV since 2008. In 2015 Jan was elected as a board member of PVDA, the Belgian Workers Party.
