THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the "Salish Sea VS NEB!" Day of Action on Friday. We made a big scene in downtown Vancouver on a Black Friday with our 70+ painted sea creatures, loud chanting and colourful banners. The more people who know about the sham NEB marine review, the better! Here's a cool short video shot by local filmmaker Sharon Kravitz.
We then marched down to the Vancouver Public Library for a Community Discussion featuring Dr. Kirtsten Zickfeld, who explained her findings as a Lead Author of the recent massive UN Climate Change report. She didn’t minimize the severity of the situation, but emphasized that there is a path to saving the planet if we can mobilize the political will and leadership to do it.
So let's be part of doing it!
