We are thrilled to be inviting you to hear first-hand about the recent - and ongoing - legal challenges of Wet'suwet'en hereditary leaders.
The case, heard in B.C.Supreme Court last week and continuing October 16th, has brought forward the Wet'suwet'en concern that the project's impact on Indigenous Women and Girls has not been properly assessed. The court also heard the full account of Coastal GasLink's numerous and ongoing permit violations.
Join us for a webinar where we'll unpack the evidence and arguments, and hear Wet'suwet'en community members share visions for their unceded territory that honours and sustains salmon habitat, mighty forests, and a safe climate for future generations.
It takes huge courage to stand up to powerful interests and take to the courts to pursue what's right. We can't wait to gather with you and share our appreciation for Wet'suwet'en leaders, by delivering messages of support and over 4,000 pledge signatures live on a webinar TOMORROW.
