It has been a month since we gathered for Hug Burnaby Mountain and our community has continued to stand up against the TransMountain Pipeline Expansion. The road is tough and there are many ups and downs.
On Monday June 13, public health physician, Dr. Tim Takaro, will be sentenced to one month in jail for blocking the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion (TMX). Please come out to the corner of Hornby and Nelson in Downtown Vancouver, 9-10AM to support him and the 250 previous TMX arrestees fighting for future generations. There will be speakers, a press conference, and music.
