Metulia General Assembly

If you can't make it out to the Vancouver General Assembly because you live on Vancouver Island, there is also a general assembly in Metulia (so-called Victoria)! Make your voice known, and connect with other members of Save Old Growth in Metulia. Non-violent direct action training will also be offered at this week's general assembly.

When: Sunday, October 16th
Time: 1PM - 3PM
Where: St. Anne's Academy, 835 Humbolt St

Going for drinks, food, or a leisurely walk through the park afterwards is common, depending on how everyone is feeling!

Want to Help the Cause?

Save Old Growth always wants to see more people get engaged with issues around the environment. This month has seen record high temperatures that continue to cause droughts, including mass death of one of BC's keystone species, salmon. Changing our relationship with the environment has never been more important, and to do that, we need people to get involved.

The easiest way to get involved is to come to a talk, where we can give you more information about what exactly Save Old Growth does and why we do it. These talks happen multiple times a week, currently primarily over Zoom.
