Every day there are more and more reasons to defeat the climate destroying Trans Mountain  pipeline expansion (TMX) once and for all - from devastating wildfires across Canada brought on by the climate catastrophe to the sky rocketing costs to tax payers to violations of Indigenous rights. Just this week the Liberal Trudeau government announced another $3 billion in public loan guarantees for TMX - throwing more money at TMX that should be spend on housing, education, health care and social justice for people in Canada.

It is now less than 2 weeks until the Hug Burnaby Mountain, which is an important opportunity to continue to build our united struggle to defeat the TMX pipeline (more info below!) Climate Convergence is meeting up at Broadway and Commercial with large banners, signs against the Trans Mountain expansion (TMX) pipeline and leaflets and posters for Hug Burnaby Mountain. There will also be teams meeting there to go around the city to put up posters after the action.
