Time 130pm to 330pm
Address; 221 W. Esplanade St. City of North Vancouver.

See our Facebook page. We ride public transit. and Stand For Public Transit

All present Council members and 2022 Civic Election  Candidates are urged to attend to show their support for a proper and just Transit System for the North Shore.
We are tired of being 2nd Class!!

SeaBus should be a ONE ZONE Fare, not TWO Zones. This was approved in 2018 but never implemented.

SeaBus Improvements:
    a) Improve Sunday hours of service to match Mon. to Sat. hours.
and be similar to Canada Line hours of service.
    b) When the SeaBus is not running, improve the overnight bus
service route N24 and provide a stop at Park Royal. As a result, we
will get a 24/7 bus service over Lions Gate Bridge.
    c) Fares should be the same on Buses and SeaBus. ( At present
prior to 630pm on weekdays SeaBus cost more than bus trips. Two Zone Fare ) The
actual operating cost per passenger is cheaper on the SeaBus than the
buses. So the more bus service we provide over the Bridges the higher
the deficit for Transit). Even in the late 1940s, there were more
passengers than now sailing between NV and Vancouver. The first
sailing was in 1900!
    d) With a surplus of SeaBuses, we have 4 but need only two for the
next two/three years we should investigate new routes. Bowen Island
had a passenger-only ferry for many years. Deep Cove could use one as
well.
    e) Build more SeaBuses, maybe some smaller ones carrying 200
passengers instead of the present ones that carry 385 passengers.,
Convert all SeaBuses to run on GREEN Fuel.

3. Train Service.
Reintroduce passenger train service from a NEW Station at Lonsdale
Quay to WV, Squamish, and points north Use GREEN Fuel. Stage 2 will be a train service from LQ
to a new wider 2nd Narrows Bridge then into Vancouver.
