The United Nations Climate Conference (COP26) is taking place in Scotland until November 12. The Trudeau government is once again trying hard to portray itself to the world as a leader on climate action. In fact, this couldn't be anywhere farther from the truth. The stakes are too high to let the government of Canada get away with their lies and their failure to address the climate crisis.

That's why were mobilizing.

- Canada is the only G7 country other than the U.S. where emissions have risen every year since the Paris Climate Agreement in 2015.
- Out of the G7 nations Canada pollutes the most with 16.85 tonnes of CO2 emissions per capita.
- The Canadian government subsidized the oil and gas industry with more than 18 billion dollars last year alone.
- The government of Canada continues violate Indigenous rights by pushing ahead with the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion (TMX) and the Coastal GasLink pipeline. These pipelines, if built, are another example of how government of Canada is fueling and funding the climate catastrophe.

While the attention of people around the world is focused on the climate crisis, it's important for people in Canada to stand up against the lies of the government of Canada. Let's join with people around the world that are demonstrating that the real climate leaders are those fighting to stop the pipelines and demanding real climate justice now!

Join us on the streets during this crucial time!
