MODERATOR: THOMAS DAVIES, Climate Convergence organizer
The disastrous response of big business and capitalist governments to the growing climate crisis has led people around the world to question the climate crisis “status quo.” Many of us believe the capitalist system, which demands maximization of profits and constant expansion regardless of the social and ecological costs, is incompatible with a just and sustainable future.
We need, “System Change, Not Climate Change!”
The Covid-19 crisis has solidified this urgent call to action for many poor and working people around the world.
The burning question today is what is the alternative for building a just and sustainable world? How do we get there?
Join Climate Convergence as we discuss these challenging and important questions with organizers and thinkers from across Canada,
