Trans Mountain continues trying to bully and bulldoze TMX pipeline construction into the Lower Mainland and across the province. This includes rampant violations of Covid-19 and other safety requirements, persecution of Indigenous land defenders, bypassing City of Burnaby bylaw requirements on tree cutting, and organizing closed door meetings to force the Colony Farm Park in Coquitlam to be turned into a giant construction laydown area for two years.
However, for the past ten years we've continued to fight and stop this climate disaster pipeline at every turn. Many groups have continued to find creative and effective ways to oppose construction, and make sure Trans Mountain isn't able to hide their dirty work from the public.
Join Climate Convergence and representatives from many other organizations for an update on the current struggle. If you are interested in getting involved, this webinar is a great place to tap into what's being organized!
