The safety of Burnaby Mountain residents, students and staff has been a blind spot in opposition to the Trans Mountain oil storage facility on Burnaby Mountain.

Join those of us living within the 5.2 km sulphur dioxide hazard zone of the TransMountain oil storage facility on Burnaby Mountain, who would be directly affected in the event of a fire or other accident occurring at this facility.

We will protest the tank farm's outdated infrastructure and expansion, as well as lack of acceptable emergency response plan. On the mountain alone, 30,000 lives are at risk.

Please come show solidarity against this project. Signs are welcome. This event will be held peacefully outside the injunction zone near the property's gates. No traffic obstruction, a family friendly event.
