Worker Solidarity Network: Labour Film Screening At UBC

Join Us For A Film Screening at UBC!!

The Worker Solidarity Network will be screening Dolores (2017), a powerful documentary about Dolores Huerta, a legendary labour organizer, co-founder of the United Farm Workers, and a lifelong advocate for workers’ rights, women’s rights, gay liberation, and racial justice.

The screening will be paired with a short video from the 2025 BC Migrant Summit, highlighting the ongoing work supporting migrant workers and labour justice in our communities. The evening will conclude with time for questions and discussion, as well as an opportunity to connect with fellow students and community members interested in workplace justice and collective action.

Whether you’re new to labour issues or already involved, this is a low pressure way to learn, reflect, and get involved!
