B.C. Premier Christy Clark is in Asia this week shaking hands to speed LNG investment worth a mind-boggling
$175 billion according to a new provincial figure.  That's e
nough for 15 Northern Gateway oil pipelines, by comparison.   The list of projects is staggering.
18 LNG export terminals are planned, 9 natural gas pipelines, and 100,000 jobs promised for "150 years" of prosperity.
The latest assessment commissioned by the Province looked at a scenario of five LNG plants constructed in B.C. between 2015 – 2024. This would create a total investment of $175 billion, said the Ministry of Natural Gas Development on Thursday.
