"We need your help to let Northern Health know we will not accept the risk to our elders, language speakers and knowledge holders. The continued genocide against our people cannot continue for the promise of profit through this devastating extractive industry. Join us in fighting genocide and email/call the Northern Health representatives calling for the immediate closure of the Coastal GasLink mancamps!

2020 Invasion Reflections

It has been a year since our people and territories survived 5 days of raids and #ShutDownCanada happened. We have never seen before footage to share. Be warned, it's hard to watch.

Looking back we see such beautiful and powerful solidarity. We are humbled by the power of our allies, friends and supporters. We will always have love and respect for all those that stood their ground beside us on the yintah to defend Wedzin Kwah. We are forever grateful and will always reciprocate the solidarity from everyone that followed: our Mohawk friends and allies, our Gitxsan neighbours and relatives, the Indigenous youth that occupied the bc legislature and office buildings, folks that halted the ports and ferries in Coast Salish territory, and everyone that put their feet in the street to support us! We did it.

Looking forward we know it is far from over. CGL plans to ramp up their efforts to destroy our yintah and trespass. They even obtained a permit to divert Wedzin Kwah! We know this CAN NOT happen. We believe in our responsibility to our children and grandchildren. We love her. We will always protect her.

Stay vigilant. Keep updated on our website yintahaccess.com and follow us on Instagram @yintah_access and on Twitter @Gidimten
