COPE canvass blitz of the month in Fairview

Dear COPE Volunteers,

For more than a year, COPE and Swanson volunteers have been campaigning for a Rent Freeze and a Mansion Tax to build social housing and end homelessness. Last week, we finally got a reduction in next year's rent freeze, but a %2.5 increase is still more than many Vancouver renters can bear and we don't have to stop there. This is only the beginning. 

On Wednesday Oct 3rd (this evening), we are holding our fifth canvass blitz of the month in Fairview. Come and find us at a table on the corner of Granville and Broadway between 5-9pm. RSVP on the FB event.

Over the last month COPE's canvassers have door knocked in over 250 buildings allover the city. Thousands of people whom COPE canvassers have been talked to over the last five months, are a phone call away from turning in their vote for the full COPE slate. Will you pledge to make 100 phone calls for COPE?

Starting this Saturday, phone banking will be ongoing in the headquarters every day.
