Directly Affected: Pipeline Under Pressure weaves together the stories of people impacted by the Trans Mountain Pipeline Project, the broken National Energy Board review process used to approve the pipeline, Canada’s commitments at the Paris Climate Talks, and the innovators working towards the low-carbon economy.

As our movement against Kinder Morgan grows, we need every opportunity to have important conversations around indigenous reconciliation, substantial climate action, and a fair transition to clean energy. Invite your friends and join us for the screening of Directly Affected by Zack Embree, followed by a panel discussion with some of the water protectors fighting in the frontlines.

This screening will be hosted during the HiVE's Social Impact Week (SIW). The goal of SIW is to build a network of knowledge within our community by showcasing these ideas through various workshops, presentations, discussions, and activities.

We acknowledge that this event will take place on the traditional, unceded, occupied territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish, and Musqueam Nations.
