As the fight against the Kinder Morgan pipeline heats up, Climate Convergence is looking to raise funds to support active and important indigenous resistance to the dirty Tar Sands megaproject. Come join us for a chance to meet some of the leading organizers of grassroots actions and campaigns to stop the pipeline, enjoy the company of other like-minded folk and raise funds to continue this vital work!

We are raising funds for:

>>> The Kwantlen Nation, who are planning on building a healing lodge on the proposed path of the Kinder Morgan pipeline on their territory. They have met their initial modest fundraising goals, and are now planning a more comphrehensive project which would start construction in the Spring. There is information here: http://standwithkwantlen.org/

>>> Eagle Eyes (Gordon August), a hereditary chief from Sechelt who currently lives in Vancouver. Eagle Eyes is a leading organizer with Climate Convergence as well as the campaign to stop the Site C Dam. He is also a residential school survivor who is battling MS, cancer and trying to find a home for himself and two sons. He gives so much to the climate justice community that we are doing our best to help support him as well. More information here: https://www.gofundme.com/gordon-familys-medical-fund

100% OF PROCEEDS GO TO SUPPORTING THESE TWO IMPORTANT INITIATIVES!
