Green New Deal Town Hall - Vancouver - new location

Hosted by 350Vancouver and Greenpeace Vancouver Local Group

Thursday at 6 PM – 9 PM

The Pace: 520 Alexander St, Vancouver, British Columbia

Join us for a town hall meeting to help shape the vision for a Green New Deal for Canada!

We acknowledge that this event will take place on the traditional, unceded, occupied territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish, and Musqueam Nations.

A Green New Deal is an ambitious vision for tackling the climate crisis and inequality, it is a bold plan to retool our economy at the scale that science and justice demand. That means mass government investment to build a 100% renewable energy economy created safer, healthier communities for all of us.

We invite people from all walks of life and all movements — workers, Indigenous communities, students, trade unions, migrants, community organizations and people across the country to gather, define and design a plan for a safe future and more prosperous present.

This event is taking place at The Pace (520 Alexander St). The Pace has informed us that they are accessible by a ramp through the garage door. Bathrooms are accessible, but do not have grab bars. Please feel free to contact any of the hosts directly with any questions.

We are trying to make this a scent-reduced environment, and ask that individuals attending help to make this a scent-reduced space.
