Join us on May 24th in solidarity with youth around the world to demand climate justice.

We will be doing a die-in outside the headquarters of Teck Resources, the second biggest company in BC, who have a horrible environmental track record.

We want things to be as spontaneous as possible. Try to avoid looking suspicious or like you are waiting for something. Everyone should arrive in small groups, less than 5 minutes before 4:30. When you arrive, do not stand around in big groups, look busy, go for a walk around the block if you're early.

At 4:30 there will be a signal and everyone will lie down on the ground in silence, blocking the sidewalk. We will lie down for a couple minutes with banners at either end of the blockage explaining who we are and what we are doing. Following the lead of the person with a megaphone, we will slowly stand up singing "People Gonna Rise".

Afterwards we will march together to the Art Gallery Plaza for a community event.
