All of us are impacted by the way in which media tells our stories, everyday people can make major impact by learning to leverage the media to create impact for their communities. 

Learn the basics in a media strategy: how to write media advisories, press releases, make pitch calls, and pick spokespeople.

Practice inviting journalists to your events and ensure they walk away with a good story.

This event is geared towards activists in the environmental and social justice movements.

Please bring notepad or laptop to practice workshops.
