Summer Celebration Strike! - Sustainabiliteens Vancouver

What better way to kick off summer break than with good music, great people, and a huge party for climate justice?

As young people forced to confront inaction on the climate chaos, which is endangering our futures, we have a lot to be angry about. But our movement isn't about anger - it's about love. It's about coming together to create a more beautiful future for everyone, which starts with coming together and having a good time!

Don't miss out on our closing celebration of the 2018-19 school year and our kick off to a summer of new and exciting actions!

Vyve.life will be leading a "vyve" dance party through the streets! Check out their website for more information - we're really hyped! For folks who aren't into dancing (that's okay too!), there will be other activities set up in the park, including conversation circles (make new friends!) and the climate ribbon ritual. There will also be food trucks available if you want to grab a bite.

This is not a school strike, so don’t worry if you have exams or can’t miss school.

We will be sharing our action plan for the summer and September as well as how to get involved in the movement. The goal of this event is to kick off a great summer of action and celebrate the end of school and everything we have accomplished. We want to show the world that we are excited about the climate friendly future we are creating!
