Understanding climate change: Is the past the key to the future?

A talk for Parkgate library, District of North Vancouver.

Meeting location: Parkgate library. 3675 Banff Court, North Vancouver. The Parkgate Library is located in the Parkgate Shopping Centre at the corner of Mount Seymour Parkway and Seymour Road, North Vancouver. Access is gained via Seymour Road which is the access road to Seymour Provincial Park.

Meeting time: 7:00 pm.

Description: David will summarize what is known, not known or surmised about climate change and how climate change has been around throughout geological history. He will discuss a variable that has come into play in recent times; the ascendancy of one species and the by-products of its accompanying industrialization. He will attempt to decode past and present climates as a lead-up to what we may expect in the future.
