Dr. Fisk will discuss the chaos that Trump has provoked in the Middle East, especially around Israel-Palestine, in his lecture entitled, “Tweets and Deals of the Century: How to join the Arab World's sectarian war under the guise of peace.” Dr. Fisk’s talk will be followed by a Q&A panel.

Dr. Fisk has covered dozens of international trouble spots during his over 40 years as a journalist. His assignments have included the Lebanese civil war, the 1979 Iranian revolution, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the Iran-Iraq war, the first Gulf war, the Algerian civil war, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the most recent Western interventions in Afghanistan and Iraq. On assignment, he has interviewed Saddam Hussein, Ayatollah Khomeini, Osama Bin Laden and other influential and controversial figures. Beyond the popular support and recognition he has earned internationally, Mr. Fisk has more international awards for for his professional journalism than any other foreign correspondent.
