HUGE call out for volunteers!!

We need a lot of volunteers during the march to act as peace bearers, banner holders, petition/donation collectors, music liaisons, chant leaders, stage helpers, and cleaning up the site. See details below.

We also need 4 volunteers to be the Four Headless Horsemen of the Fossil Fuel Apocalypse!! The puppets are very lightweight and easy to move.  They are also super fun! Here's an inspiring pic featuring. an unruly frenchman and me disguised as doom..

Lots of cool jobs to do - feel part of this historic event!

"Peace Bearer" Volunteers Needed for March

Are you interested in being part of the Peace Bearer team? Our job is ensure the event is indeed safe and “family-friendly” for everyone involved, in line with the consensus of the organizers. Members of the team will also assist with making sure the transition from “rally” to march goes smoothly and according to plan. We will also have a small first aid team just in case of mishaps but could use more volunteers in this area as well. Peace Bearers work to model our actions on our First Nation allies tradition of maintaining or restoring balance and harmony with the natural world and within our communities.

Even if you have never done this sort of thing before this is a great opportunity to get your feet wet. We always combine new volunteers with experienced team leaders. Contact Bob at: robertages@telus.net or Ariel at: a.martzoberlander@gmail.com
