Climate Games teams have been swarming all over Paris throughout the two weeks of COP21 and actions sprouting up around the world. And this gorgeous wave of disobedience will surge on D12 when we will draw red lines with our disobedient bodies in a mass action in Paris and beyond.

Vancouver Event: 11:30 Dec 12 Sat @ Vancouver Art Gallery

A hundred actions so far!
400 teams have already signed up for the Games and over 100 adventures have been reported on the map! From multiple blockades of Europe’s biggest sites of CO2 emissions, Germany’s lignite mines, to burlesque and mischievous interventions in Belgium, via imaginative interruptions in Brittany, or daring decorations in Paris, teams have been showing everywhere that in the face of climate crisis and state of emergency, creativity and determination are still our best tools of resistance!

#RedLines: NOT FOR CROSSING
Meanwhile, the Games closing round is upon us! D12 – December 12th: the day of action where the movements will have the last word. In Paris and beyond, with their disobedient bodies, teams will mark #RedLines, minimal necessities for a just and livable planet that should never be crossed and that the UN agreement is steamrolling over.

In Paris, thousands will break the state of emergency by taking to the streets. An act of mass mourning for the dead of the climate catastrophe using 5000 flowers, fog horns and red umbrellas, will end in the unrolling of 2km long red lines which points to the offices corporate criminals. Everywhere around the world, at frontline struggles and sites of resistance, #RedLines will be drawn across train tracks carrying coal, stretched across the entrances of institutions that refused to divest, marking the fields where fracking rigs are planned. #RedLines will appear on government buildings cutting social services for the poor and fossil fuel company offices, across immigration detention centers and border fences. All the interconnected manifestations of the Mesh will be marked for further disobedience to take place in 2016.

If your team is in Paris, visit D12.paris for the most current info and to sign-up for sms updates to get real-time updates on the day of action —and don’t forget to tell us if you do autonomous adventures on that day. And for those not on the streets, be sure to stay glued to the Gaming Map on D12 as the rhizomatic network of resistance reveals itself. You can follow and share the developments of the day with the hashtags #RedLines #ClimateGames.
After the Last Word, we will have the Last Dance.
Just in time for the Closing Round, we are launching our updated Awards Page. You have only 48 hours to nominate your favorite teams for the awards, until the deadline strikes on Sunday as the Awards Ceremony gets underway in Paris. We believe that at the end of these extraordinary two weeks, coming together to celebrate our successes is a key moment for movement building. If you are in Paris, join us at "le 6B" for a complete programme: the magical awards ceremony where we will share stories of our adventures, give out beautiful prizes and dance to the thumping tunes of Filastine & Nova, followed by the DJ-set of the group Fils de Vénus. Fear not if you are not in Paris, because we will also broadcast our ceremony online for the enjoyment of the players across the Global Blockadia.
See you in the streets!
