I’m David Eby, but fossil fuel companies call me Oprah - because you get a subsidy, you get a subsidy, and you get a subsidy !!!!!

We disrupted David Eby’s @bcndp convention schmooze fest last Saturday with a public service announcement - Dave is giving YOUR tax dollars to the LNG industry! 
According to a new report from the International Institute for Sustainable Development, LNG projects in B.C. are on track to receive $3.93 billion in public support by 2030.

Despite the fact the LNG industry is facing a global supply glut as too many terminals come online at once, David Eby’s NDP just approved a brand new mega terminal, Ksi Lisims, that is 100% owned by Houston-based Western LNG and backed by US private equity money. As B.C. residents struggle under the cost of living crisis, our Premier dishes out public money to American billionaires and fossil fuel executives.

As long as you keep backsliding on climate, logging old-growth, and subsidizing the LNG industry, David..... we’ll keep showing up
