Breaking: RCMP are raiding Wet’suwet’en Yintah - Raids at Gidimt'en Checkpoint

Dear allies of the fight for decolonization everywhere,

Land Defenders from Gidimt’en Checkpoint are being raided by the RCMP’s Community-Industry Response Group RIGHT NOW.

We need you to call the RCMP and BC NDP politicians and demand the immediate release of land defenders and the removal of RCMP from Wet’suwet’en yintah.

The situation is ongoing and fast moving. Sleydo’ Molly Wickham has released this video. We know that five people have been arrested. There are suggestions that Gidimt’en Checkpoint is being torn down.

Gidimten is demanding immediate release of those arrested, the abolition of the CIRG unit, and the removal of RCMP from the yintah.
